Happy #WhosOurHeroWednesday!Have you recently noticed added content such as Motivational Mondays, Who's Our Hero Wednesdays, and Throwback Thursdays to our social media platforms? All of this is thanks to this week's Who's Our Hero highlight, Molly Gruber! Molly relocated from Maryland to complete a summer internship with our affiliate to assist with our Volunteer Programs and Development Research. During her time with us she was able to research and create our Volunteer Recognition Plan (keep an eye out for that), engaged with volunteers and other affiliates to better our volunteer orientation and experience, and managed our social media to keep us connected. Outside of her internship, Molly volunteers to donate and help contribute equity hours for one of our current partner families, as required for our housing program. Molly supports Habitat for Humanity because of the way it changes people's lives by providing homes they can call their own. "My favorite part of my internship was the team I got to work with. Everyone was so welcoming and helped me learn so much about the culture of Maui, the mission of Habitat Maui, and for helping me understand more the huge need for available housing," Molly shared.Mahalo Molly for all of your work and dedication to coming here and helping us serve our mission and community! #HowManyHashTagsIsTheLimit ...
