You can help to build homes without swinging a hammer by volunteering at the ReStore!
Habitat Maui’s ReStore is a home improvement store and donation warehouse selling new and gently used building materials and household items. Donated items are resold at a fraction of the retail price and proceeds go towards helping our building programs.
If you have retail experience or are willing to learn, you will make an excellent addition to the ReStore team!
ReStore Volunteer Responsibilities:
Cashier: ring up sales, answering phones, and assist with small projects at the counter.
Sales Floor Associate: cleaning and organizing display shelves, pricing items, moving furniture, and keeping the salesfloor neat and clean.
Customer Service Associate: greet customers and help find items, explain store policies, answer phones.
Donation Receiver: unload, sanitize, price, and organize donations, prepare items for the sales floor (includes testing and doing minor repairs).
