Why We’re Hosting This Luau
In August 2023, our island was devastated by the deadliest wildfire in U.S. history in over a century. Thousands of residents lost their homes, businesses were destroyed, and entire communities were displaced. As recovery efforts continue, there is still a long road ahead.
Habitat Maui is committed to providing long-term housing solutions to those impacted by the disaster. The Disaster Recovery Fundraiser hosted by Old Lahaina Luau will help us complete necessary home repairs, provide gap funding, and support full reconstruction efforts.
