AmeriCorps is a voluntary civil society program supported by the U.S. Federal Government and Corporations. AmeriCorp National and VISTA Members engage in public service work to help those in critical needs within the community. Members serve 10.5 and 12 months terms at Habitat for Humanity affiliates to provide assistance to lower income home buyers and owners in building or repairing their homes.
