Habitat Maui’s “A Brush with Kindness” program helps underserved homeowners struggling to maintain their homes. Through this program, we help residents reclaim their homes with pride and dignity and help them remain in their homes safely by assisting them with safety repairs and retrofits.
There are two programs offered through “A Brush with Kindness”:
Community Agencies and Funding Partners. Through this partnership, Kupuna and disabled homeowners may qualify for home repairs at little or no cost. Homeowner must meet *HUD Income Limits.
No interest repair loan. If you do not qualify for repairs with any of our community agencies or funding partners, you can apply for repairs on a 0% interest, no profit, loan. Homeowner must meet *HUD Income Limits.
