(Hawaii Habitat) is seeking an Executive Director for the State of Hawaii’s Affiliate Support Organization (ASO) to provide overall leadership for the ASO in accordance with the policies, objectives, and directions of the Board of Directors. Hawaii Habitat operates statewide to support five diverse and geographically dispersed local affiliates through resource development, advocacy, disaster response, training, and technical assistance and its work involves local businesses, churches, and individuals to invest in the improvement of their community.
The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the ASO, is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, and has overall responsibility for the management of the affairs of Hawaii Habitat. They are the public face and corporate spokesperson for the ASO and accountable for the effective and efficient financial, operational, and administrative management of Hawaii Habitat. They accept the covenant of Habitat for Humanity and is a leading advocate for changes in policies and systems throughout the State of Hawaii aimed at eliminating the inadequate barriers for a safe and decent place for our community to call home.
