HOME BUILDING: Normally we build every Saturday, from 8:00 to 4:00 p.m but starting soon we will be working at our Kahoma Project and will need volunteers every Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 to 4:00 p.m. Experienced project managers are on site. Job duties may include: site work, framing, painting, roof installation, finish work, installation of cabinets, flooring or fixtures, and much more. Opportunities do arise for work on the other home builds during the week as well. See CURRENT PROJECTS for a Home Build map direction near you.

PREPARE FOR YOUR DAY:
What to bring: water/lunch

What to wear: covered shoes, comfortable clothes to get dirty, sunscreen/hat

We have new safety requirements prior to volunteering on a jobs site – Please complete the following steps to view our required safety video “VOLUNTEERING ON A HABITAT FOR HUMANITY JOB SITE”

  1. Please log into the following website to watch a brief safety video prior to going to the job site:

  2. In the middle of the screen, please click on the link labeled “Volunteers”
  3. Click on the box “Online Safety Training Courses – Begin Now” button
  4. Please write down the Access Code provided on the screen, then click on the box below that is labeled

    “Take Training Course Now”

  5. Enter the Access Code from the previous screen and click the “Submit” button
  6. This will take you to a safety training page with many helpful videos to keep you safe on a jobsite, but the video required is labeled

  7. Please click on the link and watch the short safety video
  8. Please print, fill in and bring your waiver with you to the job site

Everyone must complete a new waiver every new calendar year
