Darryl Banks President - Darryl is the President and Owner of Banks Pacific Construction Company.  Darryl Banks started his career in construction over 30 years ago and has a passion and affinity for creating one of a kind properties. With extensive knowledge in turnkey operations, design build, value engineering, in both commercial and residential properties, he is best known for his attention to detail and the ability to get the job done.  Darryl holds his degree from the University of Southern Idaho in Business Administration and played professional baseball for the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians.
 

 
Deborah K. Wright Vice President - Deborah is a partner in the law firm of Wright & Kirshcbraun, a family owned firm that specializes in litigation and business.  After practicing in Dallas Texas, Deborah and her family moved to Maui in 1987.  She volunteers with the Holy Ghost Church and is a past board member for St. Anthony Jr./Sr. High School.  Deborah is also an expert cook and loves to travel.
 
 
Clarice Holmes Secretary - Clarice can often be seen with a pack of seniors whale watching, dancing or just partying!  As a program assistant with Kaunoa Senior Center, Clarice is an expert at planning events and activities.  She also serves as a liaison with our senior community making sure they have safe, simple and decent housing.  Clarice and her husband live in Kihei and also love to travel.
 
Alan Sakuma Treasurer - Alan, a Maui boy, is the Branch Manager of Evergreen Home Loans.  Working with the mortgage industry, Alan helps with both the Finance Committee and the Family Selection committee. Alan graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelors of Business Administration.

Helen Giron - Helen is the Branch Manager of First Hawaiian Bank, Wailea Branch.  She also serves as Treasurer for the Wailea Town Center.  With her background in finance, Helen chairs our Family Selection Committee where she helps families work towards financial stability so they can realize homeownership.  Helen enjoys spending time with her daughter and sewing when she has free time.

Gwen Hiraga - With years of experience in project management, Gwen brings experience in development and construction to the Board.  As a Principal for Munekiyo & Hiraga, Inc., a full service planning and consulting firm, Gwen works with government, nonprofits and developers of all sizes in performing land use studies, environmental analysis, legislative coordination and construction efficiencies.  She is also a board member of the Pacific Housing Assistance, a committee member of the University of Hawaii Maui College Chancellor's Advisory Committee and a director of the Hawaii Natural History Association.

Jack Fisher - Jack has a passion for Ashtanga Yoga and is an accomplished instructor but in his spare time he is the Broker and Owner of Mauirealestatebroker.com, an independent real estate company.  Jack is also an accomplished musician and performs with Soundwave, an instrumental surf rock band.
 
Charlene Ka'uhane - Charlene puts her expertise in public relations to good work on the board of Habitat for Humanity Maui.  Owner of Ka'uhane, Inc., a public relations firm, she represents many small businesses and organizations to promote their business on Maui and around the world.  Charlene is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a member of the Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association.
 
Bob Novello - Bob currently is part owner of Haleakala Plumbing and brings to the board a wealth of experience in business and sales.  After years of owning his own hardware company, Bob moved to Maui and has used his business background to first help the Maui Food Bank and now Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  Bob and his wife live in Kihei and are active members of the Italian American Socail Club.
 
Gary Passon - Gary came to Maui with wife, Charlene Schulenburg, after an extensive career in high tech and business.  His wife and he hope to open a bed and breakfast on Maui while giving back to the Maui community.  Gary earned a degree in Engineering and Computer Science and then went on to earn an executive MBA from the University of California - Berkeley.

Mike Takamatsu - Mike is retired from United Airlines and brings his experience with Human Resources to the board.  Mike has the distinction of having worked on every house that Habitat for Humanity Maui has built.  Volunteering on the first house in 1998, Mike continues to monitor the job sites to ensure that all the volunteers are safe.  Mike serves as the Safety Officer for Habitat and loves to surprise the project managers with spot inspections!  Mike and his lovely wife Miriam live in Kula.

Ryan Anderson-Teshima - Ryan is a Prosecuting attorney for the County of Maui.  He graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Communications and Political Science.  He went on to Law School at the Southwestern University School of Law.  He currently is the Secretary of the Maui County Bar Association.  Ryan and his wife live in Wailuku.
 
Travis Thompson - Mr. Thompson is retired from the Boeing Company and as Director of Finance for the County of Maui.  He is a director for the Hawaii Public Housing Authority and the Hawaii Co-Chair for the National Finance Committee, George W. Bush Presidential Center.  Travis earned a Masters of Business from the University of Washington.  He and wife Ali live in Wailea.
 
Kalani Wong - Kahu Wong is the Chaplain at Kamehameha Schools, Maui Campus.  He is also the Associate Pastor of Iao Congregational Church.  A graduate of the University of Hawaii and of Fuller Theological Seminary school, Kalani can often be seen presiding over house dedications and ground breakings.  He is highly respected by the students of Kamehameha Schools and often works with all the schools to bring volunteerism to our young community.
